Doppleganger Optical Theremin

This is an optical theremin with a secondary modulating oscillator. You can get all kinds of crazy sounds out of it. Some of the sounds remind me of old video game systems. It also will step up and down notes simmilar to an "Atari Punk Console."

The top left knob controls the pitch. Te second from the left controls the pitch range. The third knob changes the speed that the modulating oscillator goes. Finally the knob on the far right is a volume knob. The far left switch will turn on the modulation oscillator. The one next to that switches between the photo-cell and potentiometer for volume control. The far right switch is the main power switch. There is a 1/4 inch output that can run into a guitar amp, mixer or anything that accepts a 1/4" Jack. It is powered by a 9V adapter that is not included. You MUST use a negative tipped adapter to power this. If by chance you only have a positive tipped adapter I can reverse the wiring just message me in advance of payment. I recommend any adapter that would be used for audio products like distortion pedals etc.

Below is a video please take a look you will get a very accurate idea of how this works and sounds. The video does not have any effects on the unit it is just running clean through a guitar amp.
